Helping you move better so you can do more of what you love
Physical Therapist Serving Trussville & Birmingham Metro Area
We were educated as physical therapists but over the year’s clients helped us to see that by pairing our love for learning and service, we could help them do more than live pain free. Our physical therapy patients get care that is developed specifically for them in a one-on-one setting. We treat a wide range of movement problems caused by pain, injury, surgery or medical issues that impact your ability to live the best life.
Often, the winning edge can come down to your physical performance. Being able to move better than your opponent can be the deciding factor.
This program begins with a screening and assessment, then you’ll receive a tailored plan where we’ll work with you to achieve your ultimate level of sporting performance.
For Groups, Teams & Companies
Our sports performance programs are an extension of the screenings and assessments for many of our clients. These options include individual, group and team programs and a focused on improving functional mobility. We work with your coaches and trainers to help create a collaborative environment focused on helping you surpass your goals.
This program is suited for a young child who has not played sports; may lack the confidence and coordination to take part in recreational leagues; or wants to excel in competitive sports.
Our adult program was created for those starting a new exercise program; wanting to improve results or those who are going through one of life’s many transitions.
We believe that leaders are not born nor is leadership a destination. In this program, we partner with individuals, teams and organizations to develop leadership skills through the principles of human movement.
By finding helping people learn how their passions, skills and careers intersect, we have found that they have more clarity and fulfilment in their daily lives.
Teams and Companies
Building great teams or organizations go beyond crafting a mission and core values. We help guide teams through a process that help them identify values and principles that they naturally possess. In doing so, they can build strong trusting teams that communicate internally and externally with authenticity.

Moving well is an important part of quality of life and is a great reflection of our overall health. Pilates gives us a way to improve the movement experience in a challenging, but safe way for individuals.
M3 Performance and Physical Therapy began using Pilates to help clients improve their movement experience completely by happenstance. Our annual learning and development plan took us in many directions and along the way we were introduced to some of the basic principles like whole body movement, control and breathing in several different courses. While the courses we took were not associated with Pilates, there were some principles that continued to overlap. One year while working on a golf project with a Pilates instructor, she pointed out several ways we had already incorporated Pilates tenants in our client care. That conversation jump started what is now our M3 Pilates. We found some skilled master instructors and through instructor training blended the Pilates principles into our movement philosophy. The reason behind this was rooted in our frustration with being part of a system that routinely worked with “broken” clients. Many of our clients reported not having a place that allowed them to keep investing their health and wellness without breaking down. Moving well is one of the basic ingredients we need for a great quality of life and when a person can move well it can be life changing. We felt that by providing a fun, challenging and safe environment for clients to improve their movement experience we could help them live life well.
We like to think of our classes as a Pilates experience and want clients to leave feeling more confident about what their bodies are capable of. It’s more than exercising; it’s taking control of the amazing gift that is your body and owning the quintessential tools to live your best life.
Joseph Pilates introduced the Principles of Pilates: Breathing, Concentration, Control, Centering, Precision, Balanced Muscle Development, Rhythm. Each of these are an integral part of the M3 Movement Experience and consequently M3 Pilates.

Our Strong Bones classes was developed for clients who have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis, Osteopenia and those who are at risk for developing those conditions.

I was having severe leg pain, my internist suggested that I try physical therapy. My weekly visits deal with all types of movement issues as I age. I do not think I could be as active as I am now without our working together and his positive attitude about me being able to continue to do all the physical things like gardening that are so important to me.
